Hard to believe that I just finished week four of Wine and Dine training. I am still struggling with Life Issues (and boy, let me just say that life is throwing some major curve balls my way lately)
So week four was supposed to be:
- Tuesday – 4 miles easy, then 20 sec/2min intervals
- Thursday -3 x 1 intervals (1 mile easy, 1 mile fast, 2 minutes easy, 1 mile fast)
- Saturday – 4 miles easy
- Sunday – 8 miles (4 miles steady, 3 miles fast, 1 mile steady
It looked nothing like that in reality.
- Tuesday – done
- Thursday – skipped
- Saturday – skipped
- Sunday – 6.5 miles (4 miles steady and 2 1/2 miles fast)
Work has thrown me for a loop – and I am battling for every workout right now. Thankfully, this week’s training is a recovery week. Easy runs without too much speed work, and the long run distance is short; just 6 miles (yes I am still constantly amazed that I now think 6 miles is a short run)
