In an attempt to help even out attendance at the parks throughout the year, Disney has announced and implemented new seasonal ticket prices. After many prices increases, most people could see this change coming. And it is a big change on Disney’s part.
So let’s talk about what you need to know about Seasonal Tickets.
- Seasonal Pricing only applies to Single Day Tickets at bother Disney World Resort Parks and the Disneyland Resort Parks.
- Days will be priced out as Value, Regular, and Peak days
- Color Coded Pricing calendars will be available up to 11 months out
So, let’s take a look Park by Park.
Disneyland Resort Adult Single Day, Single Park tickets will be $95, $105, and $119
Disneyland Resort Adult Park Hopper Tickets will $155, $160, and $169
Walt Disney World Resort Single Day, Single Park Tickets will be $97, $102, and $114 (Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom)
Walt Disney World Resort Single Day Magic Kingdom Tickets will $105, $110, and $124
Walt Disney World Resort Park Hopper option can be added to any tickets for $55 (1-3 days) or $69 (4-10 days)
If you are buying multiple day tickets for any of the resorts, prices have gone up slightly…but those tickets are not affected by the Seasonal Price changes.
So, what do you think? I am skeptical. Disney knows that demand is high, but let’s face it – many of us make our travel plans around when the kids are out of school, not when tickets cost less. I also don’t know many people who only buy single day tickets. I am not predicting a big change in the crowds at the parks because of the seasonal pricing.
