What NOT to bring to the Disney Theme Parks

Everywhere we go, security is getting tighter and tighter. and Disney theme parks are no exception. To enter each park, you will need to go through a security check point, where bags, backpacks, and strollers will be checked. There are definite things that are not allowed, and you will be asked to either take back to your vehicle (or resort) or throw away. This list is updated to include changes that were announced during the busy Holiday Season.

  1. Suitcases, coolers, or backpacks (with or without wheels) larger than 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high.
  2. Wheeled vehicles – including wagons, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, trailers, shoes with built-in wheels.
  3. Alcoholic beverages
  4. Weapons of any kind (as of December 2015 – including toy guns)
  5. Folding Chairs
  6. Glass containers (baby food jars are ok)
  7. Pets
  8. Tripods/monopods that cannot fit into a standard backpack.
  9. Selfie Sticks
  10. Professional Camera (photography or videography)

This list is subject to change, and I always recommend to my travel clients to check for the most up to date list on the Disney website. You can find them here!
