7 Can’t Miss Foods in the Disneyland Resort

seven treats you can't miss

Spending the day (or a few days) in the Disneyland Resort will definitely work up an appetite. In my opinion when it’s time to grab some food, these are definitely the things you can’t go wrong with!

  1. Churros – you can’t visit the Disneyland Resort without getting at least one churro. I think they sprinkle a little bit of crack in the sugar. Seriously, I have had churros other places, and they just aren’t as good.
  2. dole whip
    Mmmmm…. Dole Whip

Dole Whip – How do you explain Dole Whip? Creamy pineapple goodness. You get it at the Tiki Juice Bar outside of the Enchanted Tiki Room right inside the entrance to Adventureland. Pro-Tip! If the line is long (and it can be on warm days) there is a 2nd line inside the queue for The Tiki Room! Less of a wait, and you can take it into the show with you!

  3. Monte Cristo – I think just about everyone has heard of the Monte Cristo, but you have to try it! You can get it either at Café Orleans or Blue Bayou in New Orleans Square. It’s a classic.
  4. Mint Julep – it is not exactly food, but the traditional Mint Julep in New Orleans Square is a perfect refreshing drink for exploring New Orleans Square. (Oh, and in case you are wondering – it’s non-alcoholic)
  5. Chili “Cone” Queso – I am in love with the Cozy Cone Motel and the snacks that are there. You can’t go wrong with chili served in a bread cone!
  6. Bengal Beef Skewer – In Adventureland you can find the Bengal BBQ. Just about anything on the menu is wonderful, but my absolute favorite is the Bengal Beef Skewers.
  7. Beignets – Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen has the BEST beignets in Southern California, served perfectly in a brown paper bag of powdered sugar! Technically this is not in one of the parks, but actually in Downtown Disney District. Perfect to grab for breakfast as you head to the park entrances!

The Disneyland Resort has so much more food to offer – but these are my favorite, go-tos. And most of them (with the exception of the Monte Cristo) and great for snacking on the go!
