Adventures in Physical Therapy – week one

So, my first full week of PT started yesterday.

My appointments are Monday and Wednesday, and if Friday’s and yesterday’s sessions are any indicator, they are going to work me hard! Which, since this is not 100% covered by insurance, is a good thing. As I said, they are focusing on hip strength with me, and instead of just rehabbing my right side, we are working bi-laterally, so both hips will be stronger by the end of the process.

So far, the worst thing I have to do is the one legged bridges. By the time I have completed my 20 reps, my glutes are screaming. I am trying to remind myself this should make running easier, and possibly even make me faster.
