I’ve admitted I have a problem with runDisney races, and I wonder if they have been reading my blog in secret.
They have just announced a new race. A new Star Wars race, which is very interesting, since until now each coast has it’s own line-up of races with no overlap. It’s called the Star Wars Half Marathon – The Dark Side.
Which makes me stand up and scream “Just take ALL my money, right now!”
In addition to the Dark Side Challenge in Orlando, there will be a special Coast to Coast medal created specifically for participants of the Star Wars Races called the Kessel Run Challenge.
Did I mention that runDisney can just take all my money right this minute?
This basically changes up my 2017 race plan. January with be the Star Wars Half Marathon in California and then in April I will be running the Star Wars Dark Side in Florida. THEN it will be a break until it is time for my ultimate challenge of the full marathon in January 2018! Of course this means I need a 2nd (and maybe a 3rd) job.
